Perfectly captured was conceived and is administrated by a small friendly group of photographers and I.T. personal who have various abilities and saw a niche for a site that offered something slightly different to photography and post processing enthusiasts.
They conceived a site that would offer the following :-
- A black gallery display space that contrasts well with the larger than usual sized thumbnail images.
- Larger than average image upload pixel size (1600 pixels wide or high max).
- Fully integrated forum and live chat options.
- A warm and friendly family feel in a fun community.
- A place to display your best work, to learn and teach others about photography.
- A site that understand that the younger generation are the future of photography and does not allow nudity, pornography or graphically violent images to be openly displayed.
- A site with no adverts plastered all over the screen, we just want to see images and learn about photography here.
- A site where all members understand we all start somewhere and using that knowledge treat other members with the respect and cordiality they deserve.
- A site where positive comments are encouraged and an average rating system for judging images is used.
- A site where the admin team listen to the voices of the members and try to improve the quality and composition of the site to the majority of users requirements.
- A site that pays no heed to creed colour or religion. We are all different but here we have one thing in common.. photography and that is the only welcome basis of conversation here.
- A site where the rules and terms are clearly laid down in black and white so all members know exactly what to expect and what is expected of them.
- A site where everyone realises that regardless of quality and ability we all have different tastes and our comments on other members images allow for that fact.
- A site where your images are exactly that, we offer our server for you display your work, we do not claim or want copyright and we do all we can to protect your images on our files. Of course we cannot do anything about thumbnails and links to our site that may show a small version of your image on other areas on the web but from our point of view at all times your work is your work.
- A site that’s interesting and fun for you to visit to display what you feel are your perfectly captured images and that you can do so in the knowledge that your work will be judged fairly with respect and in a polite and courteous manner.
- If this is what you are looking for then come on in and join us. You can post freely up to a 50 uploads and then a small fee of £10 per year is charged for subscriptions to help us run the site without advertising on any of the main gallery pages.
