So whats coming up on the site next?

Having just celebrated our first birthday we are in the process of making the upgrades you have requested over the last couple of months.

We have designed and implemented the new menu buttons as the previous ones were flash based and could not be viewed by all members, in doing this we have also reduced the width of the side bar. We have also changed the mouse over colours to give more contrast. We have added the side bar to other areas of the site but have removed it from the comments page and you now have links to other site areas just at the top of the page when you make a comment. Hopefully this will remove the requirement to keep pressing the back button when you make a comment.

As most of you know we like to carry out our site upgrades live as this means less downtime for the site, so please don't pannick if you log in and things look strange, generally changes happen within seconds so do refresh if the site looks wonky at any time. The calendar is switched off just for the moment as we need to make some adjustments to it.

We have not forgotten the competitions we promised to run but need to give this area much thought because by their nature competitions can cause dissagreement so we want to be certain that any we run are fair for all .

Don’t forget to take a browse through our forum. You will find a poll running regarding photographers choice of equipment there and we are very interested to see the results of this. In addition the admin team will ask your opinion on matters of change on the site.

Your admin team have not been as active posting images and making comments on the site because we are trying to concentrate on background work at the moment. Please don't think we have deserted you, we still view all images uploaded and will be back as active members soon.

Don’t be afraid to drop us a line in the “Contact us” section if you have a specific suggestion, or if you prefer you can add a note in the “Dear Admin” section in the forum. We are only a small admin team at the moment but will always endeavour to respond to you within 24 hours.
