An adventure to go along with your capture of the Fresnel lens at the Point Loma lighthouse. I also like your treatment of the lens... enhances the glass for me.

Lovely colours Tony which stand out brightly against the background. A Rosella of some kind, I thought Eastern until I noticed the blue head,

You captured all the sparkle and glitz perfectly. I'll bet a lot of the sparkle and glow is coming from these Senior "golden" folks counting their golden coins.

I'm by no stretch an expert on children pics but I do agree with Gillie and Rich, you need to just bide your time and wait for the right moment as they doing what comes naturally and not posed at all. Just sit there with your camera all set for the action and then quick as a wink raise it to your eye and....click. But on the flip side, I do not think you can go wrong with the twin subjects you have in your viewfinder....I'm sure your camera and you too for that matter - finds them absolutely flawless. I wonder what would happen if you set your camera up on a tripod and let it do some time lapse shots just to see what you could get. That way the little guys wouldn't be so conscious of you behind the lens as you wouldn't be in that situation.

A lovely light here with the clouds making the shot. I find it odd that the beach has only a small area of sand,

An excellent choice Gillie, way out of left field, well cropped and processed,
David

PS regarding the power lines connected to the synagogue - that is the way it is done here now and in the past, very few buildings have underground power entry only in new estates.
