This is in the lobby of Harding University located in my town. 5 exposures 1eV steps from 1/8s to 1/125s. ISO 2000 @f6.3, exposure compensation -1.7eV. Handheld using autobracketing shooting a continuous burst at 8fps. I use 5 1eV exposures and then adjust the exposure compensation to make sure my histogram contains all the shadow and hightlight data without any clipping.

You are definately using HDR for what it was intended. Glad you mentioned the bursting as that is so important in this process.

Thanks fstop, but I also like the artistic and sometimes the surreal look when the image would benefit. Obviously, in this case a more realistic processing was what I selected. Thanks for the comment.

I like the symmetrical feel that is brought to your composition by your perspective, the colors and the reflective quality of the floor in picking up the twin staircase and the sculpture at the centre of the image (someone really knows how to polish a floor that is for sure).

Very nice, Gary. Excellent use of HDR. Like the colors and how they reflect in the floor.

What a magnificent staircase, it is so perfectly mirrored. Beautiful editing and shooting on this piece. Excellent.

Your HDR work has created an excellent overall exposure whilst retaining the atmosphere and lighting. It also adds an air of rich opulence.
Great work Gary.
