Located in North Little Rock, Arkansas, the Old Mill is the focal point for weddings, pre-wedding photos, HS senior portraits, etc. Mid-April is the approximate time to catch both the dogwood trees and the azeleas in full bloom. Even the classic Gone with the Wind movie used a scene with the Old Mill. The upkeep over the years has been good, not great and is heavily trafficed. I was looking forward to Spring and ran across this 2008 version I liked.

Easy to see why it is a popular location for photographs and functions. The dogwood is my favorite spring tree; to see them in the woods in Va side by side with the Red Bud is wonderful. This picture is almost too pretty for me; a little chocolate boxy, but that is just my taste.

Beautiful capture. I really like seeing all that stone work, it makes the shot for me. Nice work!

Stunning composition. This capture is so well composed with the walkway leading to the steps alongside the beautiful waterfall and then on up to the mill itself to enter and explore some more. I love the saturation too - those red azaelas provide perfect highlights throughout. WELL DONE!!!

This is a super capture of a very beautiful place. This would look super in a 11x14 hanging on my living room wall. Great work!

A beautiful image full of color. It's snowing here in Massachusetts today so this is a welcome sight.

Whilst it is a well composed shot, there are a few changes I would make. I would have cropped to just above your sig, there is also a very soft feel to the shot,if this was intended then fine. I would have used a global sharpening on the shot, so has to just perk up the shrubbery but not over sharpen and then selective sharpening of the building, fencing and stone steps.Just my thoughts Smile
