Very good for your first trial. I have never heard of this dish before and I like how you have presented it to us. Maybe just a tad more sharpening would have really made it stand out, but I am really fascinated with the whole look of the image. Very well done and welcome to PC.

Hello there
Thats a very tasty looking mealand nicely presented too. Your image is nice and sharp with good detail. If I may make a suggestion, when your going to crop a section on an image such as this make it a definite crop, sometimes this can be done by cropping the side too, for example here if you had cropped the right hand side from the shot then the dish would have sat in the bottom right hand corner of the frame nicely.

Possibly a bit more contrast and the sharpening that Wanda mentioned. An interesting looking dish though, I wonder how my seafood allergy would go if I were to sample it  .
