Nice low sun illuminating the dead grasses, the peeling paint and the rust; makes for a good picture. I wonder who lived there, and why they left; moving to find work I expect. Just home to critters now.

What a nice find and you did such a nice job with it. I like the lighting, shadows and coloring. It stands out well surrounded by the black page.

I like the quality of the lighting (especially how the light highlights the grasses in front of the abandoned structure), the sense of texturing that comes through from the grasses and from the abandoned house itself and the sense of sadness and loneliness that is evoked by the setting. I remember as a child leaving a home which in the area of the picture might have simply become abandoned and left for the wildlife but which was simply torn down.

Hi Gary

Good capture, sadly this scene is playing out all over the country, good details, exposure and color, it has an HDR look to it

Your HDR processing is so perfect for this capture - love the details and the toning. The perfectly defined shadows in the entrance and windows enhance theage of this old place so nicely. Your accomplished HDR techniques have turned this old place into fine art.
