With the late afternoon sun hitting the opposite side of the house and providing great texture I walked over to the shaded side of the house and found more character and was hoping my HDR exposures would bring it out.

Super HDR Gary, you inspire me with such excellent work and that 50mm 1.4, I'll have to pull mine out for a hdr test drive.

I like the texturing that comes through from the weathered (and worn) nature of the structure, the lighting (especially around the window and the door immediately in the centre of the structure) and just the sense of wonder as to the who, the why, the what, the where and the when of the people who built this structure (and the rest of the buildings you have posted in this series).

And we take note of the sign reading Private Property.

The effect of light and shadow on light and darker wood and terrific textures and strong colours are superb.

Great job with the HDR. Love all the texture and rust. Great find.

I am so enjoying this series; we are scouring Florida for derelict and decrepit dwellings!

I love the late "golden hour" light shining on this old place and the rich and vibrant saturation coupled with the finite details put this one over the top for me. Especially like the orange shading on the grasses by the front door. OUTSTANDING!

Another very believable HDR image Gary which brought out good colour and terrific detail,
David
