Chicago Peace

Close to the area of river where many of my photos are taken lies King’s Park. Within this park are many rose beds containing a variety of roses, this one is Chicago Peace showing the three different colour stages, a hand held shot, non macro, zoom only.

PP Work…Paint Shop Pro X
Adjust - Colour - Fade Correction - Amount of correction 5
Digital camera noise removal (noise 10, blend 70)
Cropped, resized and sharpened
Selected rectangular border and inverted
Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur, radius 15
Effects, 3D effects, buttonize (outer frame)
Inverted, effects, 3D effects, buttonize (inner frame)
Erased around the edge of the flower (close in work at 1000 zoom and using a 1 pixel eraser)

You can complain because roses have thorns, or you can rejoice because thorns have roses

Hiya David

Well my friend you know I adore floral images and indeed i am a big fan of this blown framing style. This is absolutely beautiful. Those roses have the most adorable colours. Simply stunning and I have no doubt I would pay for a shot such as this in the shops

Hi David,

Not much left for me to say to say. Those roses nicely spill over the frame and the combination of soft colours is very attractive. So I now can just enjoy looking at the picture.
