I made my way to Magness Lake to see if the trumpeter swans were still there. About 50% had already left. They migrate to this lake in Arkansas in mid-November and leave around mid-February. They were not as active, but I managed to capture a couple of shots.
400mm @ f/5.6, ISO 3200, 1/800s, handheld.

Don't hurry back to Canada... it's cold... someone left their fridge door open once again. Such striking birds flying in seemingly unison.

They standout well in that background, a nice in-flight shot of these birds on there way to Jan's location.
