Striking contrast between the foreground and the background in this image which works to bring a strong sense of depth to the picture. Then is also the contrast between the eroded nature of the hoodoos (I think that is right) and the more regular nature of the La Sal mountain range.

A dramatic landscape in well managed dramatic lighting and contrasting wonderfully with the background snow-clad mountains - superb.
I wish we saw more of this type of picture of the Arches national park which obviously has more to offer the imaginative photographer than just the well known arches themselves.

Wow what a stunning picture ! To see the sun kissed foreground and contrasting mountains with snow capped peaks is an amazing site. Then to cap it with with those clouds and the lesser spotted blue sky ( uk viewers only ) is a special moment. You sure are blessed with some awesome scenes. Thanks for posting this scene..Phil

Nice level in this image with clarity and detail throughout. A dramatic contrast between warm and cool colors with good exposure on both.

Crystiline clarity, surreal (and natural!) colors and a landscape that is almost otherworldly. What an image! Your POV makes it seem you are quite high up. Did you climb, hike or drive to this level?

Pure Arches...in it's finest hour. We were there about 8 years ago - but wish i could go back again now that I have my Canon 5D Mark II. Your rich and true saturation of colors and the DOF with endless details puts me back there live. And to capture the LaSals so crisply...outstanding photography.
