Such a beautiful looking bird with the tear drop patterning on the white plumage of the Cooper's Hawk. The clarity of detailing of those talons comes in a close second to that patterning.


So he was checking out the birds that come to the feeder? I would imagine that the smaller birds scattered quickly with the appearance of this hawk.

What a beautiful bird, and what a perfect photograph of him, the detail in his feathers is excellent, as is the clarity of the wrinkles around his feet. Love his curious expression, too.

A very well exposed capture against a bright background. Lots of fine detail shows the beautiful markings of the bird.

It's all about details and you captured each and every one of this hawk's features without skipping a beat. Just doesn't get any better than this.
