Good action shot with the Warbler caught in full song mode I would think. The contrast between that of the Warbler and the muted background helps to make the bird stand out strongly in the image and enhance the pose of the Warbler. And the catchlight in the eye adds to the visual appeal of the picture, for me.

Love the catchlight in his eye but it's his body language in tack sharp focus that does it for me. This little guy is belting out a song and you captured him in high style. WOWWIE!

Okay, so as you say it is a tad soft in places but the head and eye are good and what a perfect pose and background, I can almost hear it's song. I hope you get the opportunity for another shot while it is singing this way.
Super shot Howard.

This is a happy bird! Very well captured with the motions to go along with the song.

Wonderful capture, Howard! Love the wings and the song! The warblers start arriving here in New England over the next few weeks. They must be flying as I type this. Smile

Focus on the bird is good Howard which is all that matters. You certainly have a huge selection of birdlife to choose from in your 6 acres. Wonderful shot,
Dave
