The one on the right, feathers a-flapping, seems in shock that his head has been cut off.

I nice pose indeed. It's a shame you can't get close enough for single birds or small groups to avoid others part in, part out of frame.

I like the varying poses of the spoonbills (especially the bird in the central front of the picture), the complement feel of the colors of the water and the spoonbills and just the nature of the bird (exotic in form and color and just not something that one finds in the wild in my area of the bird).
