I caught this shot at dusk off the dock at Ranier, Minnesota. I just found it interesting with the birds posing like they were caught in an evening gossip. Ranier is located east of International Falls along Highway 11 as one moves towards the Voyageurs National Park lying along the border between Minnesota and Ontario.

Nice image, I like the reflections of the birds and the nice colours in the water too which is reflecting the sky.

The random positions of the gulls, the reflections in the water plus the color of the water all work together for this quiet moment.

Lovely water at sunset, and you're right. they are definitely chewing the fat; a peaceful time of day, nice capture.
