I like your combination of the flowers and the ornamental watering can and the texturing that you made use of which works to bring a clear strong painterly feel to the composition. The colors of the flowers really stand set against the relatively darkened nature of the background. I find myself wanting the darkened area in the lower left to be slightly lighter to give more of a clear view of the curve of the watering can. With a thin black border and a white border of some width this image would be ready for hanging in my mind.

The texture really makes this look like an old oil painting that has been cleaned a little; really good work on this pretty still life.

Beautiful! I never thought of using 2 textures together, though I do adjust the hues on one to suit my needs. I'll have to try combining a few. Thanks for the tip!

What a gorgeous image Jill. It has all the great elements put together. I love the colors of the two flowers and especially love that watering can, it is so unique. Nice work with the textures too.
