That's great, lovely bright colour, the sort of truck you would love to own.
Very nice.

It almost seems to have a life of its own. Love the 3D effect the light and shadows create. Would not change a thing. Impressive capture. Well done.
Regards, Phill.

Thanks to Gil and Phil,
Yea, I'd be happy to own it. It's still out there, looking forward to Spring here this year to see it again.
Take care,
Wilt

Hey Wilt... this image really makes me smile.. somehow you have managed to capture such character with this truck, almost like he is sitting resting out of the bright sunshine before trundling off to the saloon for a pint Lovely angle, good strong detail and nice colours, all round an excellent shot my friend well done.
Thank you for posting
kind regards Helen

Hi Wilt,
Nice capture, someone has spent some time and money looking after this one and you have managed to capture their hard work well, super colour and detail, it almost makes you want to jump in and drive off with it.
Well done

Love the old time feel about this, would probably work pretty well in sepia as well! I think i would have cloned out the wire on the wall behind the driver's door as I find it a little distracting where it stands out, other then that that's about it.

I hadn't really noticed the wire before but now that you mention it....
Thanks, Andy, I do.

Wonderful colour captured here Wilt. I just love how you have shown how well looked after this fine vehicle is. the barn boards really are a great contrast for it. perfect angle and perfectly captured. Good work indeed.

Hi Wilt,
Nice to see you joined while I was on holiday in Aruba!
You are quite right, this must be the best way to show this old truck. The fire engine red also makes it extra attractive. Love to see the panarama landscape in the chrome fender (? english?)..

The shadow/highlight modification did not work as well as a HDR would have worked. Composition and the elements used are great - it looks chunky (my word for nice!). I think a B&W conversion might work better.

Then it wouldn't be red. :o) Thanks for the comments, maybe HDR, might try if I have more than one of this one.
