A type of bee sitting on a rather tired looking hydrangea in our garden, I had never seen a bee with the additional apparatus between the eyes before this variety began visiting us, a hand held macro.

A face I'm not even sure a mother could love, but excellent hand-held macro. Nice post work and good composition.
Good work,
Take care,

My dear friend of many faces I can not get over the clarity on the bees head. What perfect focus you have there. The soft pastel colours really make for wonderful colour to contrast him well. Lovely indeed.

Absolutely lovely David,

Spot on focus on the head and a lovely mix of colours to form the BG.

Hi David,

It does not matter that the hydrangea looks tired - the forms and colour make a lovely BG for the detailed bee.
