Another view looking North along the Tamar, the majority of the mooring posts seen here have been removed which makes the scene a dreary one now

This will be my last offering until I return from Western Australia, at this stage I have no idea when that will be, I have a one way ticket so far and won’t be able to make further plans until I arrive in Perth.

The Tamar Valley is located in the centre of Northern Tasmania with Launceston, Tasmania's second largest city, at the southern end of the valley and Bass Strait at the northern end some 40 kilometres away. The Tamar is an estuary and can be navigated it's entire length. River cruises are available all year round. The North Esk and South Esk rivers flow into the Tamar at Launceston.

Hello dear friend

Another delightful capture here, wonderful reflections and such a peaceful feel and mood. Good sharp detail and colour saturation just a tony shame the boat on the left and far right are slightly cropped and the mast is not quite all showing. Still a wonderful shot though.

kind regards Helen

My of my favorites. I love the colours and the setting. Stunning reflections and colours. Very recognizable as yours.

Those Esk rivers give you a vast expanse of water - love all the colours and morring poles, too bad they are now removed.
Lovely soft pink and soft blue colour in both sky and water. That water is as smooth as a mirror.

Thanks - have a safe and enjoyable trip,

Ciao David

I love the soft tones and glassy contrast on the water, my friend of many faces. Lovely reflections with sharp detail in the boats.
Perfect composition. Well done.
Warm Regards

Hi David
The electrical tower seems to compete with the masts.
Peaceful, great reflection. The large ship could be cropped off and it still would be a nice pic. Nice work
