When returning from the Lofoten Islands, the first leg of our trip brought us from Bodo (Nordland) to Oslo. Since I am addicted to photography my husband hardly ever sits in the window seat. What I saw below me in June last year was amazing; such a rugged landscape with snowy mountains, rivers and lakes, a joy.
In the original picture you can hardly see the reflection of the plane in the blue of the motor, but by lowering the contrast all of a sudden the plane appeared.
This was made with my "old" camera the Konica Minolta Dynax 5.

Hi Els

This is without a doubt one of the best shots taken in flight that I have seen. It is so clear and well detailed with very good contrast. An amzing view and a well balanced shot

kind regards Helen

Ok I am impressed. So many times going over the Rockies I wished I could capture a shot of what I could see but have never. The reflection is a bonus and makes it really exciting. Just a super perfect timing moment. Great job.

Keep on trying to capture those Rockies, especially when you can see one of those lakes - the colours of those waters are stunning - you just have to be lucky with the time of day and the position of the sun.
Thanks for your visit,
Els
