...."Sunrise in Our Valley"....

My goal was to composed the effects of the light and colors, of the sunrise, on the silhouettes of the trees and the mistic effect of the light and colors on the foggy mist of the valley floor.
Taken just east of our home. Camera stability provided by a Bean Bag on fence post
Thanks, so much, to everyone for looking in to my gallery and special thanks to all who leave thougths, ideas and comments. -Larry

Great colours Larry, the sky is very beautiful.
I'm not there, but I just wonder if there is to much in the foreground, I think maybe I would like to have seen more of the sky and less of the tree's.

Larry there is so much I love here. The colours and the Silhouettes are really wonderful. I think I might have cloned out the branch that drops down as to me it just doesn't quite look natural. I love the mists and the way the trees come out of the background here. Lovely work.

It is not often one can see a strongly saturated sunrise, crisply outlined tree silhouettes and also combine it with a layer of mist but you managed all three here. Nice work Larry.

For me you have achieved what you set out to do Larry. The effect of the sunrise is mystical and colourful. I like the effect of having to look through the trees to see the gems of light and mist.

Oh Larry 2 Kisses this is lovely. Such wonderful colours as you show us a peek through the trees here... and the misty areas accross the ground give it great atmosphere too. Lovely work

Thank you for posting

kind regards Helen

Oh yes, those colours, the silhouettes all detailed and then that rising mist, what more can you want. Lovely Larry,

Hi Larry,
I'd say you did totally do what you set out to do, which is great all by itself. The mix of sharp colors, naturally dark silhouettes and fine distant mist all together make for a very nice photograph. Well done.
I'm wondering if a slightly higher POV, so you were looking down just a bit or in just a tad tighter to clean up the foreground a bit might have been a little better, but that's just thinking out loud, Great work.
Take care,

Hi Larry,
A lovely image indeed. The mix of blues, purples and whites are perfect against the silhouettes of the trees.

Well Larry you outdid yourself on this image. Coloration spectacular, the morning haze and the silhouettes do this image justice! Very well presented!
