It's strange that these vultures were having to look harder for food because the Kenyan short rains had been longer than usual. There was plenty of food and water for the grazing animals which meant vultures had to wait for for a carnivore to kill so they could eat the left overs.

Interesting that what is a good season for one animal can be a bad season for another. But in the end, it balances out. Great capture, Vic!

Great capture Vic with the perspective sets the vultures against the lightness of the cloudy sky and helping to make them stand out strongly in the image. Looks like the grouping of vultures is working as a team to search for possible food with every direction being covered by at least one of the vultures.

Nicely captured Vic, not an attractive bird but necessary in its part of nature. Super focus on the subjects and that lovely blurred background. On my first few trips across Australia by car I saw dozens of Wedge Tail Eagles, sadly on my last trip I did not see any. Hopefully they were still around just not eating road kill.
