Taken recently? I like the vivid shades of green, the combination of blue sky and green foliage and the reflective quality of the water all of which capture the sense of summer time. The sunlight might be strong but I think the light combined with the color and the reflective nature of the water works to bring a painterly feel to your composition

Wow! SC is a lot greener than Florida at the moment, if this picture was taken yesterday! I'm always happy when it gets less green here as I can't handle it at all. This is lovely, with a pretty sky and great reflections.
