Due to the fact that I can't see in the dark, with or without my glasses, and am therefore a hazard on the road, I rarely get the chance to practice shots like this. This was a night when I ventured out for a sunset, but it didn't happen, so I played with the lights instead.

Beautiful location and lighting. I wouldn't want to pay that monthly electric bill.

I like how the reflective pathway of light works to lead the eyes of the viewer to the distant building, the contrast between the lit structure and the surrounding darkness which serves to bring a 3D feel to the building, and the sense of peacefulness that is evoked by the setting (especially from the boat at anchor). I just wish that the viewpoint had been slightly lower with less of the branches in the upper left hand corner.

Excellent photo, as good as any sunset.
