The fog rolled in as the sun set at Redondo Beach Pier. It was very cool walking around watching folks fishing in the fog :-) We rarely get to see fog where I live in the Mojave Desert, so it was a special treat!

Wow! That was a dark afternoon. Great control of the lights and focus - I can even see the fishing line on the nearest pole. Super composition.

The contrast between the lights and the grey clouds and fog is quite startling with the lights visually "popping" and working to lead the eyes of the viewer along the pier deep into the image. The toning, the subject matter and the quality of the light all work hand in hand to bring a paintlike feel to your composition.

Light and fog provide excellent contrasts. A very appealing shot, Jill, one that we keep peering into in order to see more.

Oh my! The ghostly appearances are still sharp, even in the dark. Wonderfully done.

Excellent job in difficult lighting condition. Your perspective makes the pier appear to go on forever. Love everything about this image.

Great image with loads of atmosphere, the fog has made this one as it seems to almost cover the far end of the pier along with the lights on the pier. A winner!..Phil
