A view I've seen several times in my life but this was the first time I had seen the Golden Gate Bridge and I remember we stood there watching the bridge and the lights of San Francisco until well after dark. It was such a beautiful sight that haunts me to this very day.

It was some time in the later 1970s and we were on a trip from Winnipeg to Vancouver via San Francisco. Just thought of this picture after watching some of the videos and looking at some of the images from the 75th anniversary of this American icon.

Just curious. Over the last couple of weeks I've not been able to upload pictures in Firefox... I've had to use Google Chrome to load image whether those images be in digital or in film format.

Fine view and excellent exposure. It is interesting that colors produced by film are not the same as what I would expect to see with digital. I also understand that different films rendered colors differently. Film was a whole other world.

I use Firefox and have had no trouble uploading.

Hi Jan, beautiful view here. In 1975 when I was stationed in Monterey, California we took a drive over the bridge and a quick return, I don't remember much of it as I was a pot head at the time. Sad

Excellent viewpoint with the Golden Gate Bridge leading you into the scene. I like the layered effect from the land, clouds and sky in the background.

The colors of this image make it unique.

A view even an Australian can recognize Jan. Another good quality scan and the further processing has enhanced the colour and detail,
