I created this abstract from a rather ordinary and uninteresting image that I was about to send to the trash bin - a decorative bowl sitting on the mantel which I photographed only to test the light levels in the room. Using PhotoFiltre Studio, I cropped the image to get rid of the mantel, rotated 90 degrees left, created the border and thin inside half-frame, copied the 'red blob' from the decorative glazing on the surface of the bowl, pasted in to the background in a position that suggests that it has 'escaped' from the bowl, coloured it to match the inside half-frame, added the title, eh voila!

Yep, I quite agree. Creative and original, wonderful presentation and - an abstract which I actually understand, even without your narrative. Excellent work.

Well contrived Peter, a minimalist piece of art.
