Absolutely lovely. It is great when they are willing to pose. Simon seems that age that he also could refuse and turn his head away.
Good eye contact with this little man.

The close crop is very good. An excellent informal portrait.

Thanks everyone for your thought and comments on this. He actually wasn't posing at all, he was just intrigued by the camera which is when I would snap a photo of him. Then I would show his photo to him. Lovely little man with great character.

A lovely natural portrait shot here, very nicely detailed and I like the close crop and the B/W treatment. once tiny suggestion, try to get the closest eye to the lens in sharper detail.. both eye sharp is always better but if you have to choose then go for the closer one.
Thank you for posting
Kind regards Helen

Hi Helen, hadn't noticed about the eyes until you mentioned them (being in focus). I see what you mean about the front eye being slightly out of focus compared to the back one. Will keep this suggestion in mind next time I take a photo.
Thanks.

Hello Nici,
This toddler is too cute and you have captured him so well in this natural pose.
The B/W works so well also. well done! Joni
