On the way back from the Festival du Voyageur I caught this sunset photograph as I crossed the Esplanade Riel Bridge with the darkened form of the Museum for Human Rights on the right. This image would have been more striking in my mind if the neon sign on the front of the Salisbury House Restaurant on the left would have been on but those days are over at least for Sal's.

I liked the way the setting sun came through between the distant buildings and the solitary couple walking across the bridge.

Hi Jan, Like you I like the impact of the setting sun on the architecture. Well seen and you have captured the atmosphere of the evening very nicely.

Warm colorful light leaving you out in the cold, but you're used to that.

Love the brilliant splash of orange hues highlighting the suspension wires and the side of the wall on the bottom right. Might want to consider a warmer tone for the framing.

Hello Jan

This shot really is eye catching, for me its the lines that draw my eyes accross the view and the lovely warm sun too. Nicely set in the frame that suits the shot well, a neatly composed and wall balanced capture.

Thank you for posting
kind regards Helen
