...."Winter Scene - II"....

Taken North of our home. My goal was to capture the painted effect of the snow right down to the waters edge on both sides of the creek. The frost - snow - reflections - fog and slowing rising sun were a bonus. I was happy with the blue colors, as well.

Hello Larry

This really is beautiful. You have achieved exactly what you set out to do here and the colours and details are just superb. I would love to see the same view in the hight of summer for contrast too Smile
THank you for posting
kind regards Helen

Hi Larry,
This is a nice winter scene, I really like the POV looking down the stream, I like the reflections you have captured between the ice.
Well done

Hello Larry,
A very delightful winter scene. The 'blue' effect is very nice and really heightens the effect of the water. Nice job! Joni

Beautiful cold cold winter scene... the mistyness adds atmosphere, the snow adds interest and the river adds depth. Good image.

Hi Larry.
The slight blueness and mist really transmit a coldness in this super almost monochrome image. Excellent.

Amazing winter shot, beautiful and well composed. The eye follows the stream to the delicate snow/ice covered branches beyond.
