For no reason other than I quite like it.
Both days we chose to visit the old town were windy but this one far less than the other when the harbour proved itself to be so poorly designed that even another offset "inner harbour" had 4ft waves splashing over the sides and into restaurants - apparently nothing unusual.
We didn't see any fish caught but one old guy had what looked the handle of a car jack as supplied to UK owners but about 10ft long. He poked it into a rock cleft and wound the handle so the hook thing on the end tangled up the tentacles of a 4ft long octopus which he then hauled out and took home for lunch. Personally I prefer my dining companions to be better looking and with fewer limbs.

I really like the colors of the sea and sky in this composition... the blues are so vivid. The inclusion of the stonework lighthouse, the clouds in the sky and the solitary individual fishing (I'm glad I went to the larger image and catching sight of the fishing pole the man was holding... which I thought at first in the smaller image were buoys on a net in the water).

HI Vic,
fishing with a car jack handle ( or long handled window winder ) is something new and really shouldn't be knocked ...it worked for him and he got lunch..clever.
The pic is very sharp and colourful and made more interesting for me since I shall be there next year..
Can I get a window winder in my carry on luggage?
Best wishes

Vic, Hi:

Like Jan I esp like the very distinct blue colors of sky and water.
I also like the crisp sharp white caps breaking in the water.
The gentleman seems quite relaxed and comfortable, having fished under thesa circumstances many times I would guess.

Tack sharp image with amazing color.

Beautiful exposure, I like the sky and how the lighting hits the stonework and the people in the distance showing the size and scale.

Squid rings yes but I refuse to eat tentacles from either the squid or octopus. I am amazed by the colours that new camera of yours produces Vic, the image nicely balanced by the lighthouse and the fisherman,
