This was taken through the darkened window of a coach so I've had to allow for that in pp.
I was fascinated by what appear to be the wakes of passing vessels remaining on the sea's surface well after the craft have gone - like jet contrails in the sky. Perhaps it has to do with there being relatively little sea movement in the Adriatic, an arm of the Mediterranean sea.

I particularly like the distant view with the mist shrouded headlands and islands and the bluish hue to the setting. The view along the coastline works to lead the eyes of the viewer through to that distant view... reminds one of driving the coast highway in the Western USA.

Such a lovely view, along the beautiful Dalmatian coast. I like your composition including a stretch of the road, and the haze suggests that lovely time of the Mediterranean morning, when everything is still and quiet, and not too hot.

You visit such far away, wonderful places I can only dream about - thank you so much for that. But the wonderful quality of composition and details - I don't have to dream anymore - just bring up your photos. Love the inclusion of that road clinging to the side of the mountain. On second thought, couldn't do this one at all in person - that road would have me lying on the floor in the back seat of the car. It's so beautiful!

Hi Vic.
Lovely view and good composition, like the inclusion of the road it gives it both scale and height. Window or no window the exposure looks right, nice.
I was once told by someone that sometimes the wave patterns you see are not from boats etc but formed by rock formation just below the surface....maybe?
Anyway nice image.
Best wishes
Rob
