A very Happy Christmas to the good ship 'Perfectly Captured' and to all who sail in her. I am posting this early as I shall have no means to post it tomorrow and on Sunday I am driving to Florida, (800 miles)with my son, Tom, to spend Christmas with his daughter, Nia.
Thank you to all who view and take the time to comment on my photographs. I am appreciative of all suggestions, and criticisms and feel that through them I have learned a great deal.
This picture was naturally monochrome, but I converted it with Nik Sliver Efex, in order to use a bit of structure. It took a while to persuade the cardinal to stop beating up his reflection in my wing mirror and pose, but he did come around Smile The border is an antique border from onOne Perfect Effects

Beautiful Christmas card motif. I like the contrast between the monochromatic nature of the setting and the red cardinal (really eyecatching), the placement of the cardinal in the lower right hand corner with the wintry setting unfolding in front of the bird, and the nature of the bordering.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and may there be many more photographic opportunities along the way.

Brave soul driving all that way. Have a great time down south. Ace picture BTW - a natural for Christmas seeing as you don't have our little red robins over there.
Happy Christmas.

A Happy Christmas to you and yours Gillie. The card is beautiful, a real Christmas feel. Around 2500 miles west would see me visiting some of my family,
