This is making me hungry. Very nicely laid out and composed, the edges of the cake jump out of the photo, especially the larger version, against the soft background.
I think the depth is good but, for me, maybe a bit too tight. I'm thinking it might be an even better shot if the leading edge of the plate was also in focus, or at least not out as much.
Thanks, a nice shot though anyway.

Een letterlijk heerlijke foto and indeed that orange napkin underneath the pie makes it all sunny.
Good choise to use A priority but very difficult to get it right because here you want to have the front part of the plate and the whole of the applepie sharp and focussed. Now you can also fake the blurred BG by using a gaussian blur on a copy of the picture and then with the clonestamp "paint" back the sharp and detailed plate and pie. To achieve that detailed picture you have to use a higher F number like F18 - that will make your camera use a much longer shuttertime depending on the light, so you have to place the camera on the table or on a tripod. Or maybe you have to use the light coming in from the kitchen window....
Mocht je meer willen weten over al dit gegoochel, dan kan je de "send message" onder mijn naam gebruiken om meer te vragen.
Hartelijke groet,
