An early morning on the Tamar Estuary during May, 2007, it is so peaceful with conditions such as this. Such a pity that the mooring posts were removed which certainly reduced the photographic opportunities in the area.

Quiet is peace. Tranquility. Quiet is turning down the volume knob on life. Silence is pushing the off button. Shutting it down. All of it ~ Khaled Hosseini

So beautiful. A lovely composition showcasing the water, boats and reflections, but with the added interest of the buildings appearing in layers through the mist. You are the Master of this type of landscape.

I like the transition from the clarity in the foreground through to the misty background view of the hillside foliage and buildings with the reflective nature of the water adding to the visual impact of the picture.

Just curious. What is the netting for on the trio of boats?

Oh David, you are the undisputed King of the misty fog shots. I love this - especially the vivid and crisp reflections. The light was so right and you were ready. Excellent.
