We had a band come in to the camera club for a shoot recently and one of the guys is training to become a magician and did a few card tricks for the camera so this is the great stupendo!

An interesting portrait here, I think your positioning is good but maybe the light just a tad strong for my taste ( I say my taste as we all have differing opinions) but I think with the white cards its just a tad glaring. he image itself is very well balaced and I like his stance and the eye contact. Check your lens for dust though as you have a couple of blobs showing one on his had and one thats a little embarassing on his trousers Smile

Thank you for posting and I look forward to seeing more of your work
Kind regards Helen

Hi Richard I agree with Helen on the spots but that is an easy fix. The light on the cards though is just a bit harsh. I really like how you have the gentleman looking right at the lens and the look in his eye. Great idea with the image and well though out.

I like the pose, and the expression on his face, maybe just a tadge to over exposed on the cards.

Yep, I agree drop the exposure a little and this would make a good poster for the magician.
