...."Dorothy's Barn - I"....

This composition will begin a series, that with each succeeding composition, I will reveal more and more of the wonderful character of this old structure.
Many thanks, to our neighbor, Dorothy, for letting me do this series on her property.
Thanks, so much, to everyone for looking in to my gallery and special thanks to all who leave thoughts, ideas and comments - Larry

Larry, I really like this image. The color of the sky, cloudless, is typical of a Midwest (I'm assuming sunset), is awesome. The sky nicely complements the silhouettes of the barn and tree.

I like the hint of warm reflected light on the barn in this one.

Hello Larry

I love the simplicity here, just enough light to see the detail in the barn and really wonderful colours. I think i would hvae cloned out the cable though my friend.

Thank you for posting
kind regards Helen

Nice silhouette! It is nice to see someone from a neighboring state. I live in Iowa.

When I first looked at this and saw the title I immediately thought of Dorothty from the Wizard of Oz. It would fit right in with that scenario. Love the razor sharp silhouette and the glow on the horizon of the sun just waking up.
