End of July this year and a rather thick fog. Normally under these circumstances I would take well over 100 photos. The fog this particular morning was thick and shifting and I found it hard to focus on anything further away than 20 metres. I was out for 2 hours and 45 photos.

The foggy atmosphere adds a moody feel to the setting. The reflective nature of the water enhances the image for me. I like the contrast between the lightness of your composition and the black background color of the viewing page which helps to bring a 3D quality to the picture.

I've always enjoyed your moody fog enhanced photos. Very nicely done, once again. Only wish the cabin on the boat had a tiny bit more detail - but that's fog effects I guess.

I need a boat to take photos of these fog bound boats. I was around 50 metres away Diane, I tied draining more detail in processing but it was not to be.
