Its been raining almost non stop for a few days and the creative juices have not been flowing, then I spotted the flowers in the tub out the back, rain drops like little jewels,I got wet but got a photo.
Begonia I think....I don't know...its not my thing...

Hot hot hot! Colour that never fails to capture attention. Remarkable close up abilities your X20 has.
I used to say there's no such thing as bad weather for photography just challenging weather that rewards with stronger images - but - this weather is just eeuk. There's no real description for it even. No sun, no sky, no discernible cloud, no thick atmospheric fog, just an all-encompassing de-contrasting damp mist.

Juicy is the adjective that jumped to mind when I opened the picture. The contrast between the vivid hues of the begonia and the black background color of the viewing page really makes the subject matter visually "pop". There is also an added textural feel created by the rain soaked flowers which further enhances the image.

Looks like it could be a begonia Rob, my late ex father in law (another Pom) grew them in Western Australia until a nationwide scourge wiped them out. Bright colour and the X20 did well with the colour and detail,
