Old Apple...it almost made it to the birds..
Its raining outside again...yesterday I bought a large SAD lightbox to use around the house, today I decided to try it as a soft but bright Lightbox for close up work...
Old Apple sitting on the side. box on left, silver foil reflector on right side.
First results were a little dull / flat.
Played around a little in Photoshop but I think the use of the SAD box has possibilities as a daylight light source...

I enjoy using my light tent and daylight LED lamps through it. I had to Google SAD lightbox to see what it was. So as I understand it you're going to go around the house taking pictures and getting rid of your teenage acne at the same time?
It certainly provides a good large source for wrap around lighting and enough power for directional should you want it.

The light from the SAD lightbox, the silver foil reflector and post treatment have worked to bring the old apple back to life... I had thought before opening the thumbnail that you had taken a picture of either a glazed apple or a candy apple.

Love your exposure - you seem to have bonded with the light box - exposure is wonderful! No dark shadows - just pure, rich details and vibrant colors. Did this apple make it into applesauce by any stroke of luck?

Nice red Rob, something I just can't seem to get with the Oly. A friend from another photos site built his own light tent, I must go and look for his how to sheet, they look a bit pricey for a shop bought version,
