Taken at an open air art exhibition in the Blue Mountains Australia last year.
A large chrome plated egg laid on the ground distorting the reflections of the surrounding forest.
This was one of the better pieces in the exhibition...I have never seen so much naff stuff exhibited as art as in that exhibition...and we were not alone in that thought from what others were saying...or perhaps I just didnt understand it.
Slight crop and reduced to black and white.

One will always have two sides on what constitutes art (or architecture for that matter). I like the distortive nature of the reflection... creates the sense of one of the garden images from the movie The Day of the Triffids in my mind.

We have had two recent constructions in downtown Winnipeg; namely, the Esplanade Riel Bridge and the Museum for Human Rights which I think are striking examples of modern architecture while other people feel they are garish and if built should have been somewhere so that they are not the first things people when coming downtown.

Assume that's you in the centre Rob? A colour version may have been of a little more interest making the difference in the trees, grass etc.?

I am with you on many art displays Rob but then what constitutes art. Terrific reflections and a unique piece,
