Ok so I was stuck for something to point the camera at... and a suitable title...
Slack days on the imagination front... Smile)

An Aloe Vera plant the better half had had enough of seeing around the place...now on its way to the compost heap.

Close focus and bit of playing in photoshop.

I like the sense of texturing you brought out in your image of the aloe vera plant and the vivid hue of green... a real counterpoint to the white of winter.

I also liked this image cropped from the left to just the other side of the dark V in the upper left hand corner and from the right edge to the left of the darkened area in the upper right hand corner with a diagonal of the aloe stem running into the lower right hand corner.

A great caption! Sad to throw it away; many is the burn or sting that has been soothed by a leaf from one of the plants that grew like weeds in my garden in Florida.

The repeated pattern and lighting works for me - so does the title!
