This is when the water in the Delaware Bay was beginning to freeze last week. Seventeen degrees, wind gusting at 50 mph. Could only stand on the beach for a couple minutes before the fingers started going numb.

I'm feeling cold just looking at it. Nature has a way of putting us in our place now and again doesn't it. Good capture Steve - especially in those conditions.

Very dramatic feel in a b&w format. I can fully understand trying to take photographs under these conditions.

Brrrrrr - you are such a devoted photographer - the same mindset as a mailman - neither rain, nor snow, nor dark of night ....... Way to go, Steve, a superb example of winter cold and raw weather.
