Taken last weekend in the beautiful Fraser Valley, BC---the salmon were spawning and so we came to see the bald eagles descending for the spoils---the weather was so magnificent that we got beautiful wisps of fog curling around the mountains and trees---a tresure chest for photographers----

Many congratulations on this new site,I am looking forward to renewing old acqaintances again---may it be a success---Lynne

A lovely shot here, good sharp detail, well chozen as portrait view. I love the solitary bird in the trees. Maybe it could be just a tad lighter in the forground but that could be my monitor.

A lovely atmosphere here Lynne, enhanced even more by the description in your note.
I can see the difficulty when you would try to make the picture a bit lighter, then the definition in the sky would disappear.
British Columbia, an impressive place to be.

Hey you got here before us with more coming over from WA all the time. I love the sharp foreground set against the misty background and as small as the eagle is in the image it still has a starring role.

I am so jealous. I just returned from a shooting trip to the mountains and was hoping for fog but never saw any. You have captured the fog and the feelings of the place. Wonderful layers add to the interest level and the one lone bird in the tree is a perfect addition. Great presentation.
