Through the poppy petals...a bee's eye view...
Yellow poppies in the back garden...really like the delicay and colour of the various poppies.

Lovely sharp capture. Did you photograph this en-situ or take it indoors out of the wind? I have 2 tripods, one can have the center stem mounted horizontally and both have legs that can be spread wide and low yet it seemed so difficult to get the camera into a position to photograph let alone for me to see the viefinder or LCD.

Thanks, took a while....
It was outside using a monopod and me crouching near the ground and it was a bit breezy.
My Canon doesn't have live view on the back screen so I did have to contort my body a little...all in the name of art....

I like the sense of the bee's eye view of the poppy... one feels as if they riding on the wing of a bee to get this particular view. The yellow hues work well with the black background color of the viewing page... o/s contrast which really holds the eye of the viewer.
