Wonderful macro image of the dandelion in seed. I like the clarity of detailing, the sense of texturing (especially from the pitted head of the dandelion) and your title for this composition of the lowly (not) dandelion.

Superb sharpness all the way across the image picking out the textures. I'm wondering how you managed to angle your home made ring flash to avoid bounce-back from the mirror, which btw is something I wouldn't have thought of dpoing.

I note the use of a macro lens on your Canon Rob - like me, you are using a 400D.
One of these days I'm going to try putting a "clock" in a vase indoors and using the stack focussing technique to try and get it sharp from back to front.
