This hollow tree looks like it could be mined for many abstractive views and straight up presentations as with your composition here. I like the textural feel that comes through in the image from the various portions of the hollow tree.

It is certanly one of those tres that begs to photographed. (I'd love to dig it up and bring it home).
IMO it would be mproved by removal of most of the blank sky (maybe the flat bit on the left?), even though you'd lose some of the nice jagged bits at the top.
Perhaps add some tone to the sky instead?
