This is a very well exposed image Mary, when shooting into the sun it's hard but on a predominantly white subject even harder, the larger version is terrific and you feel the need to wear some water proof clothing to look at it.Super work indeed

Hi Mary,
Looking at this picture I can feel the power of those waves - how lovely to be able to capture a scene like this. I don't think it matters too much that you have been shooting into the sun. It feels like you have to run to stay dry here.
Kind regards
Els

Great work, Mary.

Absolutley superb! Great stop action shot with good detail and very powerful. I feel like I need to grab a breath before the wave goes over my head.
Thank you for posting

Interesting how the thumbnail looks like a mountain landscape with a storm blowing over the mountains. Opening the thumbnail revealed a much more interesting image of the stormy ocean... the power of the ocean is incredible as revealed in your photographs. One feels as if they are going to be swept right off their feet by the incoming waves.
