I have no idea why this uploaded sideways. It is 1295 high and 940 wide, with a resolution of 295. Anyone got any suggestions?

Fixed it - didn't realize that the edit function on PF allowed rotation. Always nice to learn something new!

I like the perspective which brings the viewer down into the child world of Euphemia and out of the world of the adult. I wish the background had been solid... possibly the tree to the right.

The beauty of the Sigma 30 mm is in it's DOF. I used the portrait setting on the Canon SL 1 for the express purpose of getting the subject into sharp focus while allowing a degree of bokeh in the immediate surroundings

What a perfectly lovely little girl - you captured each and every one of her adorable features flawlessly. What an adorable little face - she looks like a modern day little blond Shirley Temple. My only suggestion is you might want to consider a dark vignette to mask out the brightness in the background in the upper left of the photo.
