Taken a few weeks ago at Bushy park he kept between us and his ladies who are just out of shot Like Vic I got as close as I dared

The stags in Bushy have been a lot more aggressive this year then in past years I don't think anybody has been attacked but they aren't backing down as they do most other times

A formidable set of antlers on this stag... would really have me searching for zoom lens just in case this stag felt threatened by my presence. Any large creature like this with a set of horns or antlers especially in rutting season would make me wary.

This guy has a serious "No Nonsense" look in his eyes and I think that all the other younger stags will put their scheduled courting advances on hold till next year when they are bigger and wiser. Your exposure is so captivating - love the way the light is coming down from above and highlighting his antlers.

Apart from the slight lack of contrast I've mentioned, this is one of your better captures Richard, I like the 45 degree angle of pose.
